A bridge to the health system

Volunteers (language mediators and cultural experts) provide easily accessible access to counselling services for refugees with disabilities and their relatives

The bridge is a project where linguists and cultural experts with or without a migrant or fleeing background, as well as with or without disabilities, are fully engaged in the spreading of the easily accessible counselling and support services for the refugees with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Working as a volunteer mentor is possible on condition that there will be the completion of a basic qualification made by the skilled staff and your readiness to participate in the regular exchange and planning sessions. The aim of this project is to overcome the barriers, inhibitions and restrictions and to make the initial contact with our guidance and counselling services as accessible, understandable and available as possible.
